Job description

You will take the lead in formulating and executing QA strategies for the products.

Your role will go beyond "how to ensure quality and improve processes" to address "why quality matters and what we should prioritize right now" from a broad perspective.

By leading QA strategies through discussions and collaboration with stakeholders, your mission is to deliver consistent value and build trust with customers.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Defining appropriate quality standards based on product vision, business strategy, and organizational conditions.
  • Building QA mechanisms and systems to achieve the mission (including training and recruiting QA team members).
  • Leading the formulation of test strategies, planning, design, and execution.
  • Reviewing product specifications and making improvement proposals from a quality perspective.
  • Continuously promoting automated and manual testing across the entire software delivery process.
  • Proposing and implementing measures and initiatives to address quality-related issues.

Requirement

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading the formulation and execution of QA strategies in software development.
  • Fluent business communication skills in Japanese.
  • Ability to conduct daily tasks in Japanese, including text communication and meetings.
  • Example: Possesses JLPT N2 level proficiency or approximately three years of work experience in a Japanese-speaking environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in development or QA for large-scale systems spanning multiple teams.
  • Designed test processes adhering to standards such as ISTQB, ISO29119, or common QA practices, and implemented them in a development organization.
  • People management experience in QA teams.
  • QA experience in organizations practicing Agile development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for business purposes.

Benefits

Salary:

  • The expected annual salary upon joining the company ranges from 8.5 million yen to 12 million yen.
  • Salary increase twice a year.
  • The annual salary will be divided by 12 and paid as a fixed monthly salary.

  • Transportation expenses reimbursed at actual cost:
  • Up to 30,000 yen per month, paid according to the number of days worked in the office.
  • For employees living far away, up to 60,000 yen per month.

Primarily remote:

  • However, to encourage interaction among team members, we recommend a weekly office attendance day and hold offsite meetings once or twice a quarter.
  • Details may vary by team, so please feel free to ask questions during interviews or meetings.
  • We have several members based outside of the metropolitan area, including Chubu, Kansai, and Kyushu. If you prefer to work in the office, you are welcome to use the office at any time.
