Job description
You will work in the CTO office directly reporting to the President. Your role will involve research and development using advanced image processing technologies and Deep Learning for the following technologies:
Computational Photography:
- Image Stabilization
- HDR
- Super Resolution
- Panorama Shooting
- Noise Reduction
- De-blurring
- Frame Interpolation
Deep Learning Applications:
- Depth Estimation
- Image Classification
- Object Detection
- Facial Recognition
- OCR (Optical Character Recognition)
- Quality Inspection
- Super Resolution from a Single Image
Mission:
- Develop core algorithms for all products.
- Focus on practical projects expected to be feasible within 1–2 years.
- Collaborate with other departments and clients.
- Participate in internal weekly learning sessions with a focus on image processing and machine learning.
Requirement
Mandatory Requirements:
- No specific technical background is required. Willingness to learn new methods and technologies is essential.
- Basic programming skills (C, C++, Python preferred)
- Basic knowledge of mathematics (linear algebra, calculus, statistics, etc.)
- A self-directed learning attitude, even in non-specialized areas
- Japanese proficiency: N3 or higher
- Ability to identify problems and propose solutions effectively
- Must pass the company-designated programming test (details provided post-application)
Benefits
Annual Salary: 4,000,000 JPY to 8,000,000 JPY
- 4,000,000 JPY = Monthly Salary 333,334 JPY (Base Salary: 238,276 JPY, fixed overtime and late-night work allowance of 95,058 JPY for 45 hours per month)
- 8,000,000 JPY = Monthly Salary 666,667 JPY (Base Salary: 476,552 JPY, fixed overtime and late-night work allowance of 190,115 JPY for 45 hours per month)
- Annual raise: Once a year in January.
- Bonus: Paid at the end of the fiscal year, if applicable, based on company performance.
Allowances:
- Commuting expenses will be reimbursed based on actual usage, up to a certain maximum amount.

- Full two-day weekends off (Saturdays and Sundays)

Work time
Flexible work hours system:
- Flexible time: 8:00 - 11:00, 15:00 - 22:00
- Core hours: 11:00 - 15:00
