Job description
Join the legal team of a company specializing in image processing and AI product development.
You will play an essential role not only in supporting current business but also in shaping the legal foundation of new business ventures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review contracts (in Japanese and English)
- Plan and host compliance workshops and trainings
- Provide legal consultation to internal departments
- Support M&A activities
- Handle disputes (note: no recent dispute cases in the past few years)

Requirement
Must-Have
- 3+ years of in-house legal experience
- Formal legal education (e.g., law school or bar exam preparation)
- Experience reviewing English contracts
Preferred
- Legal experience at a listed company
- Experience supporting shareholder meetings
- IP knowledge (esp. patents, copyrights; certifications like IP Manager)
- Experience communicating with overseas lawyers (email or in-person)
- Licensed attorney or law school graduate
