Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Development of in-vehicle embedded software (RTOS-based and Linux-based).
  • Full-cycle involvement from design to implementation and testing in embedded software development.
  • Development of automotive-related SI (System Integration) projects.
  • Customer negotiations and various coordination tasks.

Project Examples:

  • HUD (Head-Up Display) Development.
  • Surround View Camera Development.
  • DVR (Digital Video Recorder) Development.
  • Electronic Mirror Development.
  • IVI (In-Vehicle Infotainment) Development.

Requirement

Must-have:

  • Japanese JLPT N2 or higher.
  • Practical experience in embedded software development.
  • Language: Development experience in C (C++).
  • OS: Experience in RTOS/Linux development.
  • Work experience in Japan (currently residing in Japan with a work visa).

Nice-to-have

  • Experience in automotive device development (regardless of upstream or downstream phases).
  • Experience in developing drivers or middleware.
  • Knowledge of CAN communication protocol.

Benefits

Salary:

  • Annual salary: 5.4 million yen - 6.7 million yen
  • Monthly salary: 329,000 yen - 408,000 yen

(Example: Role-based salary system / 7 million yen: monthly salary 385,000 yen + 25 hours of overtime per month, bonus 4.4 months’ worth).

Holidays:

  • Minimum of 126 days off per year.
  • Full two-day weekends (Saturday and Sunday), public holidays.
  • Year-end and New Year holidays, summer, Golden Week, annual paid leave, condolence leave, pre/postnatal leave, childcare leave, nursing care leave, family support leave (5 days), special leave (2 days), etc.
